Rodent Activity Found Above Resident’s Head

Rodent activity has been on the rise lately, with severe problems in some locations. Parts of Melbourne are experiencing things that one can consider as a plague of sorts.

The client in Avondale Heights complained of noises in the ceiling void above her kitchen sink. This is one of those rare situations where one knows a problem exists but cannot see it. Rodents were roaming above the clients head but little did she know what it was.

Investigations identified a building site next door, fruit trees throughout the garden and a river on the back door. All of these things increase the chances of rodent activity.

The building site disturbs their existing homes and they then look for a new harbourage and the fruit trees provide a great food source whilst the river is their natural habitat. We protected the perimeter of the building and placed rodenticide in the roof void where we identified the activity.

The client was given a time period within which results would start to be seen. A period plan was also set up to ensure regular overview by our technicians. This, therefore, makes sure that the work we carried out goes on efficiently and effectively.
