Melbourne Mouse Plague Causes More Problems In Burwood

The current mouse plague in Melbourne has created significant concern for our clients. We are seeing damage to property and increased activity around homes. Also noticed particularly in suburbs where parklands and feature waterways are a pet of the development.

Usually, for serious problems, we recommend that clients utilise the monthly plans that we offer. Sometimes regular inspection and action is the only fixed solution. We visited this site four weeks ago and due to the amount of activity, we scheduled a monthly review.

It is evident that activity has decreased but along the back fence, rat sightings have occurred.

While the client does have citrus trees and is right across the road from a waterway we have reduced activity significantly with the current baiting program. Despite this, our experienced technician had adjusted the program and in particular, the baits used and the location of the stations to provide further protection that reflects the current activity.

The client seemed extremely pleased with the reduction and has agreed to a review in three months.

The Melbourne Mouse Plague has been cause now for a long time for worry and pain to a lot of Australians. A lot of reasons exist for this plague but it doesn’t mean that there can be no solution for this. Using professional pest services to handle the situation can lead to a more long term solution.
