How Does A Mice Infestation Take Place?
You’re reading this because you probably have an unwanted pe(s)t in your home. Either this or you’re curious how a mice infestation takes place. Many clients question how their homes can see a significant influx of mice over a relatively short period of time.
The reality is that mice can breed extremely quickly and female mice can reproduce from the age of four weeks. They can get pregnant up to ten times per year and each litter can produce up to fourteen pups.
Imagine a typical family unit (for mice), one male and two females and how population numbers could extrapolate in a safe harbourage like your roof void.
Mice are much like humans, they simply look for a safe home for their family. This would include; warmth, security, food and water. Your property would tick all of these boxes and having rodents in your home is not necessarily a sign that your home is not clean.
It is very important to give our team a call at the very first sign of a mice infestation taking place. This could be some faeces around the kitchen or noises in your ceiling or walls. Our fully trained technicians will investigate and provide a solution to assist you with any rodent problems.
