Mouse Problems Revealed during Inspection in Doreen
Mouse problems aren’t exactly the cute and funny kind like shown in Tom & Jerry. More often than not they are a nuisance resulting in sleepless and worrisome nights. We recommend that you should always get your home professionally inspected if you suspect a mouse infestation. Usually, droppings and squeaky noises are the indicators that a problem may be looming and therefore time to ring the pest controllers.
Our phones rang from a call from a client in Doreen. She called us as her son had heard noises in the wall. Our younger generation has really embraced technology as he had recorded the noises on his phone. On listening to the noises, we suspected a possible case of infestation and we quickly scheduled an inspection.
The team got to the site on time and quickly got to work. Upon inspection, our technician found mouse faeces in the roof void and under the kitchen sink. This made clear the root cause of the noises and therefore required quick action.
The next step was to develop a management plan to tackle the situation. The developed plan was pitched to the client and upon their agreement, it was placed into action. Baits were placed in the activity areas and we expect that this will provide the outcome that the client is expecting.
Mouse problems is an issue that does not usually get solved in an instant. Placing baits and traps strategically cause the problem to disappear over a short period of time. Most often, the pest control team sets a future date with the client and at that date, there is another inspection. It is then that the results of the plan are visible.
